About Kenneth

Kenneth had an unbreakable bond and love for his mother. He credits his parents for teaching him how to live, work hard and love God. It was the only thing that could bring true satisfaction,k peace and to love others. he was the biggest cheerleader for Cheryl and his family in everything they were involved n.

Kenneth had an incredible ability to find happiness in his daily activities. Anyone who knew him was touch by his kindness, humor and outgoing personality.; He had a passion for life! He was truly a peacemaker and was always a source of positivity. His smile and determination to see any obstacle, though, will be missed. His influence on people will be treasured in the lives of those who knew him as he helped to meet their needs by encouraging them to have faith, hope and love. "To  know him is to love him"

Kenneth was an avid outdoors man and spent much time working in his garden, nurturing succulents, plants and flowers; Enjoying their serene beauty. His life was as beautiful as the flowers he loved and tended to. He observed that our spiritual lives need to be planted and tended to as well.

Family and close friends will remember scriptures he quoted near the end of his race: Psalms 119:71-72 "My troubles turned out all for the best - they forced me to learn from your textbook. Truth from your mouth, means more to me than striking it rich in a gold mine...

Kenneth lived a servant's life and modeled a servant's heart. He was a shining light and has been one of this wife's closes living example of Christ's unconditional love for us all. By the Grace of God, he finished well! A life transformed as evidenced by the forgiving grace and transformative power of God's love.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bishop Lester D. Hughes, Sr., his sister, Larcedia
